Dr. G’s Brainworks’ Family Fun Fest

CUDO Plays and a number of veteran teams were on hand at the Marketplace Mall for Dr. G’s Brainworks’ Family Fun Fest. The event brought together family-oriented groups/companies of all kinds, and of course we were there to spread the word about the competition and all the awesome local games that have come from it. Break It Up a Notch, Throw A Wrench In It, and Food Fight were all in attendance and made some new friends!

CUDO Plays Recommends

This week CUDO Plays recommends Alien Frontiers.

Alien Frontiers 5th Edition box

In this game, players compete to colonize an alien world. Gameplay is an engaging mix of dice rolling, worker placement, special abilities, and area-control. Roll all your “ships” and spend them at the different stations around the planet to perform actions. Players are racing to get all of their colonies landed on the new world, but there is always lots of competition. Alien Frontiers is a modern classic, now in its 5th edition. Highly recommended for game groups of almost any variety.
